The Observatory for Equality organises for the fourth time the Prizes to the best TFGs with gender perspective and registration is open until 20 September 2019.

The UAB will commemorate the International Day against LGTBI-phobia with the documentary "Lesbofòbia" and a collective painting at the Plaça Cívica
The Universitat Autònoma defends 17 May with the screening of the documentary "Lesbofòbia" by Creación Positiva and a following roundtable. The project to collectivelly paint the LGTBI flag at the Plaça Cívica started last year will also be resumed.

On 4 and 5 April our director Maria Prats attended the 12th Meeting of Gender Equality Units for university excellence in Alicante, based on the Network of Gender Equality Units for University Excellence (RUIGEU).
8 March marked by the feminist strike
Once again, the 8 March has been marked by the feminist strike carried out throughout the country which has repeated the massive mobilisations of last year.
The gender wage gap, at a global scale, is placed at 19%
The Global Wages Report 2019 by the ILO, dedicated this year to the gender wage gap, has been presented at the UAB in an event organised by the Women and Rights Study and Research Centre, with the support of the Observatory.
The UAB Solidarity Race to be held on 16 December
All money will go to cancer research, the disease TV3 focuses on this year. The 7th edition will include new aspects such as a walk around the ALBA Synchrotron and a race through the town of Cerdanyola del Vallès.
UAB approves the second wave of action and inclusion
The UAB approves the second Disability Action and Inclusion Plan (DAP II) that includes the measures and the commitment of the university to guarantee the rights of persons with disabilities.
