
History of Science collection
Section of the Science and Technology Library specialized in the historical study of sciences, especially from the 17th century onwards. The collection -composed by a set of more than 6000 monographs and 113 magazines in paper format and 4696 monographs and 53 magazines in microform format- has been promoted by the Institut for the History of Science and contains many original sources, including the following:
- Collections from the Royal Society: Journal Books of Scientific Meetings, 1660-1800; Council Minutes, 1660-1800; Miscellaneous Manuscripts; The Early Letters and Classified Papers, 1660-1740
- Archives for the History of Quantum Physics
- Landmarks of Science
- Collection Cros: collection of 44 magazines of Industrial Chemistry, received by donation, which includes materials from the period 1857-1953 of notable historical interest. It is deposited in the UAB Reserve.
- Xavier Duran scientific press dossier: collection of national and international scientific press from the period 1986-2005. Available at the Science and Technology Library.

Date of incorporation : the initial collection was transferred from Borja Center in 1992
