Wi-Fi and remote access

Available Wi-Fi connectivity (UAB network and Eduroam) on the UAB Campus. If you are not on campus, use the ARE and the Virtual Private Networks (VPN)

Eduroam. The UAB is an eduroam member, providing secure wireless access to visitors from participating institutions, as well as making wireless access available to UAB users when traveling to participating institutions.

Website access. You can access with your NIU and password or log in as a guest user.

Access to electronic resources at UAB (ARE). ARE service allows access from any device with Internet access located off campus to all electronic resources (books, journals and databases). ARE is restricted to UAB community members with UAB username and password.

Virtual private network (VPN). VPN is a private network created between your computer or device and another computer or server. Connect to xpv.uab.cat and log in with your UAB username and password.
