The Journals Building of the Humanities Library is located in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities building but, like the rest of the Library, it serves the Faculties of Arts and Humanities, Education, Psychology and Translation and Interpreting. It shares space with the Digital Lab of the UAB Open Labs.

Its use responds to academic purposes within the framework of regulated teaching (degree, masters and doctorates), research (occasional activities organized by research groups), non-regulated teaching (teacher and/or PAS training) and transfer (institutional activities organized by deanships and/or departments). It accommodates teaching innovation activities, workshops, active learning, cultural events, conferences, etc., aimed at the university community.

The activities that take place there are open and aim to encourage participation and collaboration between members of the university community, and any user can participate when they consider it so. The Journals Building is suitable for those activities that require specific equipment, such as monitors, laptops or video and/or audio equipment.

It has modular furniture and specific audiovisual equipment. For more information, see the equipment page.
