A cinematographic November!

Exposició Blade Runner
The Science and Technology Library analyze in depth the film by Ridley Scott in a new exhibition

21/11/2019

November 2019. In the city of Los Angeles, a police officer has to hunt down genetically modified individuals escaped from the colonies. And, by film art, this whole universe becomes a movie under the title of Blade Runner. But in reality, we are in 1982.

November 2019. On this occasion, yes. We are in the lobby of the Science and Technology Library. Some panels reveal the history and the background of a science fiction city, called Los Angeles, where six skin-jobs flee to save their lives and actors in a state of grace give rise to a cult film.

The exhibition has had the collaboration of Sara Martín Alegre, professor of the Department of English and German of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, and Ludovico Longhi, professor of the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, and you can visit it until December 13th.

And for those of you who haven't had the pleasure of seeing Blade Runner, we have a solution. The Library and the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising have organized a screening in the UAB Cinema Hall for Monday, November 25th, at 2:15 p.m.

Do not miss them!
