Description of the collection:
Since 1995, the UAB Humanities Library, thanks to the efforts of the Department of Catalan, houses the documentary collection of Pere Calders. The legacy consists of personal, family and professional documentation, correspondence, photographs, published and unpublished creative work of Pere Calders.
The personal collection of the writer also includes the personal collection of his father, Vicenç Caldés (1886-1969), writer and translator. This collection is made up of personal and family documentation, correspondence (standing out the letters of Pere Calders), library and newspaper archive. The book collection of Vicenç Caldés includes bibliography mainly on literature between the years 1860 and 1986.
