Due to staff problems at the Foreigners Office, there are delays in the student permit application procedure. It is advisable, as far as possible, to submit the extension application within 60 days prior to its expiry in order to avoid remaining without a TIE for a prolonged period of time.

New international students can obtain their UAB student card from 13 September until 11 October. For more information about the place and time to obtain the card, please consult the following link: How to obtain the UAB card?

However, remember that the card can be applied during the whole course in person at the Santander Bank (located in Plaça Cívica)

Tuesdays 10-12h and Thursdays 16h to 17h for students

Mondays from 8:30am to 5pm and Fridays from 8:30am to 2:30pm for teaching and research staff.
