1st Term 2025/2026

During the Welcome Days. Become a UABer we offer a series of activities for you to get to know the student groups and services at UAB and make the most of your stay at the UAB.

You will also be able to meet other UAB international students and local students.

In September 2025 the Welcome Days will take place from 8th to 19th September.

IMPORTANT! To take part in the activities you have to register (the registration forms will be available on 8th September).

The Welcome Days. Become a UABer programme is as follows:

• Monday 8th September
  • 3 pm Institutional welcome by Annabel Galán Mañas, the Vice-Rector for Students and Employability. At the Auditorium of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts.
• Tuesday 9th September
  • 12 pm Body Pump session at the SAF, come and try the UAB sports facilities. Registration form.
  • 4 pm Find out about the activities of Erasmus Student Network (ESN) in their presentation session. Registration form
• Wednesday 10th September
  • 10 am Catalan from Scratch workshop. Come along to learn a bit of Catalan and you'll see that it's not so different from other languages. Offered by UAB Idiomes. Registration form
  • 1.30 pm Public rehearsal of the Escuradents club, come and join this traditional Catalan dance. Registration form.
• Monday 15th September
  • 1 pm International Lunch. Prepare a typical dish from your country and share it with the rest of the students. Registration form
• • 5 pm Treasure Hunt. The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is organising a treasure hunt to discover the UAB campus Registration form
• Tuesday 16th September
  • 1 pm Castellers rehearsal, by the student group Ganàpies, the UAB human towers group. Registration form.
• Wednesday 17th September
  • 12 pm Come to practise with the UAB Badminton Club. Registration form.
• • 6 pm Open rugby training by the student group Centaures, the UAB Rugby Club. Registration form.
• Thursday 18th September
  • 3 pm Come and enjoy music and dance with the Ballem student Club and other students. Registration form.
• Friday 19th September
  • 2 pm Speed Tandem. Activity to meet other UAB students but remember that you’ll only have 5 minutes to talk to each person! Registration form
