We present the web version of Humberto Rivas. Creative process, the exhibition you can visit until March 6 at the UAB Exhibition Hall, on the ground floor of the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives, which displays photographs and archival material by the Argentine photographer Humberto Rivas (1937-2009).

“This is the first time that come out the models, contact sheets, tests and outlines that the artist made of his most famous works. An unprecedented exhibition that allows you to visualize the creative process of the artist. An artist who was precisely characterized by working with analogous photography from a rigorous technical knowledge.”

A section of the virtual exhibition refers to Humberto Rivas’ particular collection of photography books, which were donated by his family to the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona a few years after his death and are currently held at the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives.

The exhibition Humberto Rivas. Creative process has been curated by doctor José A. Aristizábal and produced by Cultura en Viu UAB. The virtual part has been a joint initiative of José A. Aristizábal, the Humanities Library and the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives.
