The Memory of the Library Service of 2018 is already available, which includes the tasks carried out by the UAB Libraries during the past year.
Some of the most significant data are:
- Closure of the Strategic Plan 2015-2018 with a degree of achievement of 95% of the objectives set.
- Extension of the laptop loan service to all libraries, with a very intensive use of the users.
- Adoption of the preservation policy of the Digital Document Repository (DDD).
- Consolidation of the offer of training courses for doctoral students.
- Cooperation in the celebration of the 50 years of our university with the accomplishment of a day on The future of the university libraries, a chapter dedicated to the libraries within the institutional book, the brochure 50 years of libraries, and several activities with the Wikipedia to give more visibility to rectors, honoris causa and works of art of the UAB.
- Thanks to the degree of involvement of the library staff, the first place in the Secaba-Rank ranking of library efficiency has been achieved again.
