The School of Engineering: 25 years educating women who make history
We celebrate the 25th anniversary of the School of Engineering with an exhibition at the Science and Technology Library.

With this exhibition we want to highlight, on the one hand, some of the inventions and innovations of 5 engineers trained at the School in the framework of the 'International Day of Women and Girls in Science'. Patents and innovations that have allowed, among others, to improve technologies such as the bronchoscope; biotechnological processes to enrich digestate, a product obtained from organic waste; or the characterization at various scales of a graphene-based transistor.
On the other, embedded in the number 25, we show 95 women who want to represent each of the scientists and engineers who have contributed their bit to make the School what it is today.
The exhibition can be visited from February 6th to March 2nd, 2023.
