Núria Bayó returns to the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives with her new photographic project, "Strong", a collection of portraits of women that the artist has photographed throughout her travels.
From the presentation text:
"Behind each of us is a woman who decided to give you life.
Despised, harassed, abused, threatened, oppressed, persecuted, and envied. Despite everything, they work, fight, pray, love, laugh, dance, raise, walk, and dream. An example of strength, courage, overcoming and survival of the human species.
We admire these looks that describe their strength.”
"Strong" was presented internationally at the 2023 edition of the OFF Perpignan Festival.
Visit the exhibition until March 22, 2024 on the ground floor of the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives.
