Strategic plan of Library Service 2019-2022
The Library Service has published its Strategic Plan under the motto A universe of possibilities.

The Library Service of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) has published its Strategic Plan 2019-2022, with the motto A universe of possibilities. This plan will guide the priorities of the libraries in line with the institutional strategic guidelines of the Horitzó 2030 plan, which emphasizes such values as user focus, continuous improvement, and social responsibility and engagement.
It is structured in six key themes:
- Teaching, with the purpose of contributing to teaching innovation and improving the user experience.
- Research, expanding support throughout the research cycle.
- People, to strengthen knowledge management that allows us to take on new challenges.
- Campus, in reference to the transformation of physical library spaces to favour co-creation and generation of knowledge.
- Governance, which must facilitate innovation and transparency, and must be aligned with the organisation's goals.
- Recognition, to encourage collaboration with external actors and create new alliances that can help our university to consolidate its recognition for innovation
