New 2020 subscriptions

Since January, new subscriptions are available through the UAB library search engine:

Nature Microbiology: offers research articles in the field of microbiology.

Nature Ecology & Evolution: offers research articles in the field of ecology and biological evolution.

Knovel: contains e-books of Chemical Engineering, Nanotechnology, Optics and Photonics and Computer Hardware and Software Engineering. In addition, it offers the possibility of searching for material properties and solving equations, based on the data from electronic books.

Focus collection on Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology d’Elsevier: more than 4,000 textbooks, encyclopedias and reference books on these subjects.

BSAVA Library : contains manuals, books and conference proceedings edited by the British Small Animal Veterinary Association.

The magazines of Taylor and Francis West European Politics and South European Society and Politics.

Biblioteca Virtual Tirant we have increased the number of simultaneous licenses from 2 to 7 users.

Thomson Reuters Proview, Aranzadi magazine portal, changed to IP access instead of username and password as we had.

JapanKnowledge Lib, a database of Japanese studies that also includes access to Kadokawa, Kogo Daijiten, Encyclopedia of historical Japanese place names and Encyclopedia of Japanese History (Kokushi daijiten) for 4 simultaneous users.

Leisure and Tourism Database containing information on tourism, leisure and hospitality.
