"Open Access publishing" training
During this week there will be three courses on "Open access publishing" supported by the Research Vice-chancellorship and aimed at PhD students and postdoctoral students. Each of the three sessions is available in a different language (Catalan, Spanish and English), on different dates and locations on the campus. Wíquimarathon on Cultural Heritage UAB 2018
On October 23 and 24, the UAB organizes a Wikimarathon on Cultural Heritage of the UAB within the framework of the European Year of Cultural Heritage and the 50th anniversary of the UAB. It is an event that aims to disseminate quality content related to cultural heritage related to the UAB within the framework of the viquipedia in Catalan and in the other languages of our environment.

Promotional video on Open Access
The video created by the UAB libraries, together with the Audiovisual and Multimedia Unit of the Communication Department, aims to promote open access. Researchers from all subject areas of research within the university (sciences, medicine, social sciences and humanities), as well as members of the Government team, have participated. Thank you to all participants!

UAB collaborates in a MicroMOOC about Open Access
During the Open Access Week 2018, the UAB, cooperatively with the other public catalan universities and coordinated by the UOC – is preparing a MicroMOOC in Twitter about Open Access. From October 22 to 26, the Twitter profile @moocmicro will publish several tweets about different aspects of Open Access: general information, open access publishing, open data, open science... Offering useful information about this topic.

- 12:30 pm MicroMOOC in English, hashtag #OAMOOC18
