Exposició sobre el FMI
This July, the 75th anniversary of the IMF is being fulfilled

18/07/2019

In 1944, a year before the end of World War II, the representatives of 45 allied countries gathered in Breton Woods, in the United States, and reached an agreement that gave rise to the IMF and the World Bank.

Currently, the IMF brings together 189 countries and is responsible for ensuring the stability of the global financial system, observing currency exchange rates and the balance of payments, and providing technical and financial assistance to countries with severe economic difficulties.

The Social Sciences Library invites you to come see the bibliographical exhibiton in the display cabinets of floor 0, as well as check the Cercador.
