One of the areas that we address from the Service is equality between women and men. In relation to this axis, in addition to offering technical support and advice, we make available to the community training and resources for the promotion of equality and for the introduction of the gender perspective in teaching, research and management. We also carry out studies to diagnose sexism at our university and draw up action plans to correct the inequalities that are observed on the grounds of sex and gender, and to promote an equal university free of sexist violence. In this latter aspect, we disseminate and provide information on the protocol for prevention and action in situations of sexist violence, and we offer a psychological support service for people who have suffered this type of situation. In addition, we carry out actions aimed at the prevention and identification of these situations. Raising awareness of and giving visibility to gender inequalities at the university is also an aspect that we work on through the organization of seminars and conferences, and through the design and implementation of campaigns.
