Name change Protocol

Name change protocol for trans and intersex people of the UAB community 

 Approved on the 23rd of March of 2017 by the Governing Council, this protocol allows people to change their legal name to their preferred name in all their university-related documents, regardless of the sex stated at the civil status, being minors, not having a gender dysphoria diagnosis or medical treatment. The domain of this procedure encompasses university students as well as civil servants and staff at the UAB—teaching and research staff (PDI) and administrative and service staff (PAS)—who request it.
