What are they?

One of the Equality and Diversity Service’s duties is developing the proposals for action plans. The UAB action plans can be defined as a set of measures or actions, based on diagnostic studies, the revision of the legal framework and other national, European or international action plans.¿These measures address the circumstances of those communities that may be disadvantaged due to gender or disability and they are organised following a set of objectives or policy areas. For each of these actions, we define the implementation period (annual, permanent or isolated), the instruments for their application and the University entities responsible for its implementation. The Equality and Diversity Service has developed, up until now, five gender equality plans and two plans regarding people with disabilities. All seven plans have gone through a process of submission and assessment by the Governing Team, the Advisory Council and social agents and were then approved by the Governing Council.
In this section you will find the action plans for gender and disability, approved by the UAB Governing Council as well as a brief introduction.
