The procedure for the application for the UAB-specific master's or graduate diploma's title degrees consist of the following steps:

1. STUDENT: You make your degree application. You will receive an automatic reply by email with the ticket number. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you keep the email to follow up on your request (especially if you have not received the NIU). 

 

2. SCHOOL: We will review your file. If everything is in order we will send you an email indicating how you will have to pay the corresponding taxes.

IMPORTANT: Do not pay anything until we tell you.

The current fees for the issuance of the degree are:

  • Master's degree and duplicate: 211,47€.
  • Postgraduate Diploma and duplicate: 191,00€.
  • Certificate of Achievement: 70,00€ (If you have studied a Postgraduate Diploma without a previous university degree you will be eligible for this type of certificate) 
  • Expert in Neurorehabilitation: 317,00€.
  • Resident Veterinarian: 211,47€.

If we detect any incident (unpaid, lack of qualification, lack of access documentation...), we will contact you to solve it.

Fees for the provision of academic, administrative and other services (Course 2024-2025)

 

3. STUDENT: Please send us your payment receipt.

  • If you have NIU: access the history from contact with the School of Permanent Training. Have you forgotten your NIU and/or pass word? Retrieve them at the online Services and Transactions
  • If you do not have NIU: reply to the automatic email you received when you submitted your application.
  • Do you need your Diploma Substitute Certificate within 15 working days? Indicate this on your diploma application, and attach proof of urgency 
  • The documents are processed with electronic signature. If you need a manual signature to legalize the document, please indicate it in your degree application.


4. SCHOOL: Approximately 15 working days after you receive your proof of payment, we will send you your Diploma Substitute Certificate by mail (if the study is prior to 2008 it may take more days).:

  • It will be electronically signed and will have a Secure Verification Code (CSV), verifiable at the UAB Electronic Site.
  • It will have the same validity as the degree for 1 year.
  • Has your Diploma Substitute Certificate expired or is it about to do so and we have not yet told you to come and collect your printed diploma? Your enquiry and, if necessary, we will send you an updated Certificate of Substitution of Title, free of charge.

 

5. SCHOOL: Approximately in 12 months we will receive the printed diploma. Then we will notify you by email so that you can pick it up. You will be able to pick it up:

  1. Personally: You will have to make an appointment and bring your valid ID card or passport.
  2. By authorizing someone through the authorization form. The authorized person must make an appointment and carry his/her valid ID card or passport.
  3. Mail service
  • You can hire a courier company to collect your title and deliver it to the address you specify.
  • You will have to authorize them through the authorization form.
  • Once you have passed the authorization, they will be able to pick it up during the opening hours.
