The Equality and Diversity Service participates once again in the UAB's Healthy and Sustainable Week
Throughout the week, different activities and participatory spaces will be offered aimed at the entire university community with the aim of promoting the exchange of experiences, the acquisition of useful tools for everyday life, and collective involvement in the construction of healthier, more inclusive, and sustainable environments in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS).
Below, you can consult the programme of activities organised by the Equality and Diversity Service within the framework of this new edition, where you will find all the actions and initiatives proposed. You can also access the corresponding registration forms to confirm your participation in the activities that interest you.
From 16 April to 27 April
Workshop: Emotional Management and Social Skills (2nd edition)
🕛 April 16 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 17, 20, 21, 22, 24 & 27 April from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
📍 Plaça Cívica | Àgora Building (Room R/115)
The course on Emotional Self-Management and Social Skills is focused on identifying emotions, understanding the importance of regulating them and knowing how to manage stress based on everyday dynamics that you face as university students. In this course we will learn to identify our emotions, identify stressors and ways to manage them more optimally. We will put into practice strategies to improve motivation and self-esteem. Likewise, in a second part of the course, you can learn to work in a team and solve the conflicts that arise in the relationship with others.

Workshop: When loneliness weighs heavily!

📍 Plaça Cívica Restaurant | Sala Annexa
This workshop proposes a participatory space to reflect on unwanted loneliness from a subjective and personal perspective. Through group dynamics, the meaning of feeling alone will be explored, highlighting the diversity of individual experiences. The workshop will begin by delving into how each person interprets and experiences unwanted loneliness. Subsequently, the thoughts and beliefs that can contribute to maintaining these experiences will be addressed, promoting greater awareness.

El Refugi Workshop: a space to learn how to look after ourselves collectively
🕛 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm
📍 Plaça Cívica Café | Sala Annexa
This workshop offers a collaborative space to reflect on and share strategies aimed at emotional wellbeing. Through three sequential group activities, the aim is to strengthen awareness and care for mental health: firstly, we will work on recognising warning signs that may indicate psychological distress; secondly, exploring accessible and sustainable self-care strategies for everyday life; and finally, developing empathetic and respectful ways to support people around us who are going through difficult times. This approach aims to create a safe space for sharing experiences and strengthening personal and community well-being.

Workshop: The Third Space: meeting and support groups for first-year students
Workshop of 7 sessions aimed at students in the 1st and 2nd years of any degree at the UAB to promote academic motivation, emotional well-being, personal academic leadership, as well as promote social support among students. The contents will be worked on through psychoeducation, gamification, reflective exercises and outdoor activities.
