On May 6th, the award ceremony for the Prizes to the Best Bachelor's Degree Final Projects (TFG) with a Gender Perspective took place

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) performed the award ceremony for the Prizes to the Best Bachelor's Degree Final Projects (TFG) with a Gender Perspective corresponding to the 2023-2024 school year. The event took place at the Central Administration and Executive Building's Auditorium at 12pm (noon), a gathering of the authors of the awarded projects, their families, tutors and different scholars.

The main objective of this enterprise is to promote university research from a critical and inclusive stance to promote including the gender perspective in academic analyses and knowledge production. The award ceremony, organised by the UAB’s Equality and Diversity Service, has the financing and support of the Catalan Women’s Institute (ICD).

The ceremony was chaired by the Secretary General of the UAB, Esther Zapater, and by Sònia Guerra, head of the Catalan Women’s Institute (ICD).

The authors of the awarded TFG received a diploma, issued by the UAB's Equality and Diversity Service, and a special token, courtesy of the ICD's sponsorship. The awarded students had the opportunity to present the objectives of their TFG:

Faculty of Law:

These awards entail the acknowledgement of students' talent and commitment, but they also play a part in the institution's strategy to advance towards a university that is equitable, fair and aware of gender inequality. Through them, the UAB reinforces its wilfulness to transform knowledge into a tool for social justice and equality, consolidating the gender perspective as a key point in teaching, research and university life.
