Workshop: Tools for communicating with a gender perspective

Communicating with a gender perspective requires understanding how the discourses we produce perpetuate the patriarchal and androcentric ideology of society, which places women and all those people not defined from the male subject in otherness and marginality. For this reason, it is necessary to identify where and how inequality and discrimination on the grounds of gender are expressed, both implicitly and explicitly, in linguistic and audiovisual discourses. We will learn to apply, in a practical way, the different recommendations for non-sexist communication and the use of inclusive language to gain precision and accuracy in our messages. 

• Dates: 5, 12, 19 and 26 March 2026. 
• Schedule: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. 
• Location: Faculty of Communication Sciences I2/106 Classroom 10 (Teaching classrooms) 
• Price: 30 €  
• Total hours: 50 hours of student dedication (12 on-site hours) 
• ECTS credits: 2 ECTS credits in academic recognition activities (for degrees).
