Activities to awaken interest in discovery and improve academic results
Children in situations of vulnerability are more susceptible to academic failure. Lack of individual support for their learning has an adverse effect on their results and makes them lose interest in what the school has to offer.
Through CROMA 2.0 we seek to help in reawakening their interest in inquiry and learning, by means of volunteer-led workshops that give them a chance to make discoveries for themselves and so gain more interest in the knowledge that school offers them.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Children between 10 and 12 years of age who are showing difficulties with school work or who are in a situation of risk.
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
By leading school workshops to activate group dynamics and learning, together with other university students.
Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4.30 to 6.30 p.m. or 5 to 7 p.m.
