Dr. Sandra Camacho Clavijo, professor at the UAB Faculty of Law, has been appointed Executive Director of the Revista Jurídica de Catalunya.

UAB has signed a framework agreement that will enable master’s and postgraduate students to access paid internships at the Department of European Union and Foreign Action of the Government of Catalonia.

On June 3, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) hosted an institutional meeting bringing together representatives from the prison administrations of Catalonia, the Basque Country, and the Spanish State. Organized as part of the Scientific-Practical Conference on Reintegration, the session provided an opportunity to reflect on the main challenges facing the reintegration system and to share experiences and future perspectives.

On Monday, June 1, the first day of the Scientific-Practical Conference on Reintegration was held at the Palau Macaya in Barcelona, an initiative that aimed to establish itself as a meeting space between research, professional practice, and public policy in the field of social reintegration.

The event featured two experts in new technologies and digital law, Rodolfo Tessone and Gerard Spuga, and was moderated by Josep Cañabate, co-coordinator of the Master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Law at the UAB.

Last May 14, several lecturers from the Faculty of Law at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona took part in the 8th UAB Teaching Innovation Conference, an institutional event devoted to sharing experiences, methodologies, and projects aimed at improving the quality of university teaching.

From 26 to 29 May, the UAB will be holding a new edition of its virtual fair for Master's Degrees, Graduate Courses and PhD Programmes. More than 150 information sessions on many of the UAB's University Master's Degrees, Continuing Education Master's Degrees, Graduate Diplomas and Courses, and PhD Programmes, each one with lecturers and/or coordinators of the study. The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona has launched on the Coursera platform the new MOOC Global European Policies, an initiative promoted by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence EUGLOB and the European Documentation Centre (EDC), coinciding with the celebration of Europe Day. The course examines the role of the European Union in addressing today’s major global challenges, such as geopolitics, security, the green transition, digitalisation and fundamental rights.
