New edition of the UAB's virtual fair for Master's Degrees, Graduate Courses and PhD Programmes

From 26 to 29 May, the UAB will be holding a new edition of its virtual fair for Master's Degrees, Graduate Courses and PhD Programmes. More than 150 information sessions on many of the UAB's University Master's Degrees, Continuing Education Master's Degrees, Graduate Diplomas and Courses, and PhD Programmes, each one with lecturers and/or coordinators of the study. Registrations are now open!
Faculty of Law professors take part in the new UAB MOOC on the European Union’s global challenges

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona has launched on the Coursera platform the new MOOC Global European Policies, an initiative promoted by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence EUGLOB and the European Documentation Centre (EDC), coinciding with the celebration of Europe Day. The course examines the role of the European Union in addressing today’s major global challenges, such as geopolitics, security, the green transition, digitalisation and fundamental rights.

On Tuesday, 12 May 2026, the Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Barcelona hosted the Annual Spring Meeting of the Association of Former Officials of the Institutions of the European Communities in Spain (AIACE-ES) in Catalonia, within the framework of the collaboration agreement between AIACE-ES and the UAB. The event brought together more than thirty former European officials residing in Catalonia and took place entirely on the Bellaterra Campus.
New edition of the Europe Day Kahoot at UAB

The European Documentation Centre has launched a new edition of the Europe Day Kahoot this year, featuring a more ambitious format and making use of UAB’s institutional license, which allows participation of up to 10,000 people.

The UAB Faculty of Law, through the Manuel Ballbé Chair, has participated in the sessions of the Group of Governmental Experts of the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons held in Geneva from 2 to 6 March 2026. The aim is to contribute to the international debate on the regulation of autonomous weapons systems based on artificial intelligence.
