On Monday, June 1, the first day of the Scientific-Practical Conference on Reintegration was held at the Palau Macaya in Barcelona, an initiative that aimed to establish itself as a meeting space between research, professional practice, and public policy in the field of social reintegration.

A group of students from the Master’s Degree in European Integration at the Autonomous University of Barcelona took part last week in Timișoara (Romania) in a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), an initiative promoted under the Erasmus+ programme that brings together students and faculty from various European universities.

The event featured two experts in new technologies and digital law, Rodolfo Tessone and Gerard Spuga, and was moderated by Josep Cañabate, co-coordinator of the Master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Law at the UAB.

Last May 14, several lecturers from the Faculty of Law at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona took part in the 8th UAB Teaching Innovation Conference, an institutional event devoted to sharing experiences, methodologies, and projects aimed at improving the quality of university teaching.

From 26 to 29 May, the UAB will be holding a new edition of its virtual fair for Master's Degrees, Graduate Courses and PhD Programmes. The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona has launched on the Coursera platform the new MOOC Global European Policies, an initiative promoted by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence EUGLOB and the European Documentation Centre (EDC), coinciding with the celebration of Europe Day. The course examines the role of the European Union in addressing today’s major global challenges, such as geopolitics, security, the green transition, digitalisation and fundamental rights.

To mark May 17, the International Day Against LGBTIQ+phobia, the UAB Equality and Diversity Service has organized an exhibition at the Faculty of Law to commemorate 20 years of equal marriage and reaffirm the rights of the LGBTIQ+ community.

On Tuesday, 12 May 2026, the Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Barcelona hosted the Annual Spring Meeting of the Association of Former Officials of the Institutions of the European Communities in Spain (AIACE-ES) in Catalonia, within the framework of the collaboration agreement between AIACE-ES and the UAB. The event brought together more than thirty former European officials residing in Catalonia and took place entirely on the Bellaterra Campus.

The Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Barcelona has had an especially outstanding participation in the Interuniversity Trial Simulation Competition, an academic contest that brings together students from the Master’s Degree in Legal Practice and Court Representation from the three public universities in Catalonia: the UAB, the University of Barcelona, and Pompeu Fabra University.
