The Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, within the Master's Degree in AI and Digital Law, organized on April 9 a new session of the Café#IA program, focused on the legal implications of artificial intelligence in the workplace.

The UAB Faculty of Law, through the Manuel Ballbé Chair, has participated in the sessions of the Group of Governmental Experts of the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons held in Geneva from 2 to 6 March 2026. The aim is to contribute to the international debate on the regulation of autonomous weapons systems based on artificial intelligence.

The Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Barcelona hosted yesterday the event “Diverse Women at UAB”, a conference organized on the occasion of International Women’s Day that brought together academics, students, and members of the university community to discuss the concepts of equality, discrimination, and diversity from both a legal and human perspective.

On 10 March 2026, the Faculty of Law at UAB hosted the seminar “Constitutionalism, Populism, and the Judiciary: Case Studies”, organized in honor of Professor José Tudela Aranda.
