Teaching Staff

The Department of Public Law and Legal History Studies has a broad range of academic profiles, including adjunct and associate lecturers as well as senior lecturers and full professors, many of whom are affiliated with recognized research groups such as GLOBAL INTEL, GREPIIC, the Institute of European Studies, and the Institute of Law and Technology. The Department’s teaching staff cover several areas of knowledge, including Administrative Law, Labour and Social Security Law, Financial and Tax Law, Public International Law, Roman Law, and Legal History. In addition, the faculty carry out active and officially recognized research, often funded through national or international calls, and maintain a strong scientific output in the form of articles, books, and doctoral theses.

The teaching staff of the Department of Private Law at the UAB is made up of a diverse and highly qualified team that includes full professors, senior lecturers, lecturers, associate professors, and early-stage researchers. This combination of profiles ensures solid and innovative teaching in the areas of civil, commercial, procedural, and private international law, while also promoting active research through national and international projects. The Department of Political Science and Public Law at the UAB includes a broad and multidisciplinary teaching staff composed of full professors, senior lecturers, associate lecturers, postdoctoral researchers, and doctoral candidates. This team covers the department’s four main areas of expertise: Political Science, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Legal Philosophy. The teaching staff is affiliated with several consolidated research groups and centres and participate in competitive projects with national and international funding. It is a diverse community, combining highly experienced academic staff and researchers with new generations of teaching staff and early-career scholars. Their work ensures high-quality teaching with an interdisciplinary approach, as well as cutting-edge research that strengthens the department’s prestige within and beyond the university.
