The Department of Public Law and Legal History Studies covers areas such as Administrative Law, Financial and Tax Law, Labour and Social Security Law, Legal History, among others, and promotes Master’s, doctoral, and globally oriented research programmes.
The Department of Private Law covers disciplines such as Civil Law, Commercial Law, Procedural Law, and Private International Law, and maintains an active academic profile with projects and centres linked to Rights and Women, among others.
Finally, the Department of Political Science and Public Law includes areas such as Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Legal Philosophy, and Political Science, and stands out for its affiliation with research groups such as Antígona, The Institute of Government and Public Policy (IGOP), and the Centre d’Estudis de Drets Humans.
These three departments are the cornerstones of the Faculty of Law’s undergraduate, Master’s, and doctoral programmes, as well as its research activities.
