The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona has launched on the Coursera platform the new MOOC Global European Policies, an initiative promoted by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence EUGLOB and the European Documentation Centre (EDC), coinciding with the celebration of Europe Day. The course examines the role of the European Union in addressing today’s major global challenges, such as geopolitics, security, the green transition, digitalisation and fundamental rights.

The MOOC is part of the UAB’s strategic commitment to knowledge transfer and the internationalisation of teaching through open and massive online courses (MOOCs), consolidating the university as a leading institution in this field.

The participation of the Faculty of Law professors in this initiative reinforces the faculty’s commitment to innovative education, international outreach and academic reflection on the major challenges currently facing the European Union.
