The Faculty of Law welcomes a delegation from the China Copyright Protection Center to discuss intellectual property and artificial intelligence.

On Wednesday, 14 October 2026, three representatives of the China Copyright Protection Center visited the Faculty of Law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). The visit was arranged through the Faculty’s former dean, Professor Josep Maria de Dios.

Professors Toni Abat and Carles Górriz welcomed the delegation and held a meeting focused on the protection of intellectual property in Spain and Europe.

Particular attention was paid to the challenges posed by artificial intelligence in the field of copyright. The meeting provided an opportunity to share perspectives on these issues and exchange views on the evolution of the legal protection of creative works in the context of technological transformation.
