Professor Antoni Abat Appointed New Director of the Institute for European Studies
Professor Antoni Abat has been appointed as the new Director of the Institute for European Studies. As of last Friday, he has taken on this new responsibility, succeeding Professor Josep Maria de Dios, who has led the Institute for many years.
The Faculty of Law would like to express its sincere gratitude to Professor Josep Maria de Dios for his outstanding work over all these years, as well as for his commitment, dedication, and contribution to establishing the Institute for European Studies as a leading centre for teaching, research, and reflection on European integration.
We also warmly congratulate Professor Antoni Abat on his appointment as the new Director and wish him every success in this new stage at the head of the Institute.
