To mark May 17, the International Day Against LGBTIQ+phobia, the UAB Equality and Diversity Service has organized an exhibition at the Faculty of Law to commemorate 20 years of equal marriage and reaffirm the rights of the LGBTIQ+ community.

The Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Barcelona hosted yesterday the event “Diverse Women at UAB”, a conference organized on the occasion of International Women’s Day that brought together academics, students, and members of the university community to discuss the concepts of equality, discrimination, and diversity from both a legal and human perspective.

The Faculty of Law is actively committed to preventing and responding to sexist violence against women

Last Tuesday, February 17, the Faculty of Law of the UAB hosted the conference “Anatomía de una sentencia: la discriminación por origen étnico en la STJUE de 18 de diciembre 2025 en el asunto C-417/23, Slagelse Almennyttige Boligselskab”, given by Dr. Cristian Oró Martínez, jurist of the Court of Justice of the European Union.

The academic journal ‘Law and Gender’ has opened a call for monographs: Gender, Law and Algorithmic Governance Coordinated by Dr. Dolores Morondo Taramundi. 

Derecho y Género Journal is launching a call for contributions for the special issue “Feminist debates on sexual violence and the law”, coordinated by Dr. Noelia Igareda González. Articles, reports and reviews may be submitted until 1 February 2026.
