Closing Ceremony of the Second Edition of the Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Law
On 26 June 2026, the closing ceremony of the second edition of the UAB Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Law took place.
The event featured leading speakers in the fields of innovation, data protection, and digital law. The session included presentations by Alex González, Global Director of IT & Digital Innovation at Nestlé, and Francisco Pérez Bes, Deputy Director at the Spanish Data Protection Agency. The panel was moderated by Eduard Blasi, a lecturer on the Master's programme and an expert in digital law and privacy.
The discussion focused on some of the key challenges posed by agentic artificial intelligence in Europe, particularly regarding governance, risks, and the best practices required to ensure the responsible development of these technologies.
The ceremony also included the presentation of diplomas to the students of the 2025–2026 cohort, as well as remarks from student representatives, who shared their experiences throughout the programme.
