About the Foundation

The Fundació Salut i Envelliment UAB (Health and Ageing Foundation UAB) conducts activities in the fields of health sciences, ageing and social and health care.

These activities are carried out through 5 organizational areas:
Research in Health and Ageing
Citizens and Patients
Professional Development
Consultancy and Ageing Projects
Knowledge Management.

Likewise, in accordance to its institutional mission, the Foundation will be able to provide services of management in health and social-health care institutions.

The Fundació Salut i Envelliment UAB (Health and Ageing Foundation of the Autonomous University of Barcelona) is a non-profit organization, resulting from the merger between the Fundació Institut Català de l'Envelliment, the Fundació Dr. Robert (Centre of advanced education in health and life sciences), and the Fundació Biblioteca Josep Laporte (Documentation centre in health and life sciences).

La Fundació Salut i Envelliment UAB está inscrita en el Registro de Grupos de Interés de Cataluña con el núm. identificador 1582.
