Social and Health Research Network (XARESS)

XARESS is an initiative to create a network of social and health centres to generate and exploit a data base repository) made up of key variables of interest to professionals.

Aim

To establish a structure for collaborations between social and health research centres and institutions for the creation of a repository of data (Minimum Data Set, MDS) from variables collected systematically for the Basic Minimum Data Set for Social and Health Resources (CMBD-RSS) and additional information with a view to using it for research projects that will lead to improvements in:

• knowledge of the population attended to
• monitoring
• care quality in social and health institutions.
