IRE researcher Marc Guillem visits Chiclayo to participate in the NeuroSummit Educativo 2026
Chiclayo recently hosted an intensive day of educational workshops where Marc Guillem Molins, a researcher at the Institut de Recerca de l'Esport (IRE), played a leading role.
The NeuroSummit 2026 in Chiclayo served as a platform for Marc Guillem to share strategies on how bodily movement enhances cognitive abilities in the classroom.
During the hands-on sessions, the IRE researcher illustrated how play and physical activity act as powerful drivers for classroom inclusion and academic success. Working alongside international experts such as Anna Forés and Jesús C. Guillén, Marc Guillem explained that movement is a core component of the learning process, directly influencing how students retain information and develop creativity.
Supported by the Universidad Señor de Sipán as a key strategic partner, the event on February 17 emphasized the synergy between research and practical teaching. This international meeting allowed the Peruvian educational community to explore how integrating physical exercise into the curriculum fosters a more engaging and effective environment for children and teenagers.
