Goodbye
Today, Jaume Cruz has left us. Jaume was a historical reference in sports research at the UAB and a member of the Sports Research Institute.
Dr. Jaume Cruz, Professor Emeritus of the Department of Basic, Evolutionary and Educational Psychology, was the promoter of the research group of Studies in the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity at the UAB and one of the promoters of the first master's degree in sports psychology in Spain. Jaume generously supported since the beginning the IRE project, which was decisive to be working together today.
It is a very sad day for all those who have worked side by side with Jaume, those who had him as a teacher and reference, or those who have been able to take together the first steps of the Institute. We want to thank him for his impulse and energy, and for the immeasurable legacy he leaves to sport research. Thank you, Jaume.
