The Faculty of Law organises an event to celebrate the International Women's Day

This event on teaching training and innovation regarding gender is part of the Distinció Jaume Vicens Vives a la Qualitat Docent Universitària 2016 awarded by the Government of Catalonia's Ministry of Business and Knowledge.

On 1 March the International Women's Day will be celebrated at the UAB's Faculty of Law with an event on training and innovation regarding gender perspective. This event will be coordinated by the dean of the faculty, Dr Esther Zapater, and by Dr Maria Jesús Espuny, lecturer of History of Law.

At 9:45 am there will be a presentation-debate on the "ILO Global Wage Report 2019: what lies behind gender pay gaps" by Ms Rosalía Vázquez-Álvarez, an ILO expert and one of the main authors of the Report. This session will be presented and moderated by Dr Eduardo Rojo, Professor of Labour Law and Social Security Law. At 11:30 am there will be a roundtable with Ms Eva Gajardo (UGT), Ms Lidia Sandalinas (CCOO), Maria Angels Pujols (Consell de Relacions Laborals), Ms Ana Macho (FEPIME) and Ms Laia Grabulosa (Confederació-Associació Empresarial del Tercer Sector Social de Catalunya). Dr Pilar Carrasquer will present and moderate the roundtable.
