Digital certificate for UAB procedures
To carry out administrative procedures with the UAB, you must have a digital certificate in order to sign documents electronically. If you do not have a digital certificate, you can obtain the IdCAT certificate free of charge at the idCAT website. You should then request an appointment at the OAMR (Registry Assistance Office) in the UAB Rectorat or at any of the town halls or citizens’ service offices in Catalonia.
Information on the certificates recognised by the UAB is available on the website of the UAB’s Electronic Office.
If you are currently abroad, you will not be able to validate the IdCat certificate. However, you will be able to validate other certificates such as that issued by the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre (Spanish Mint).
