SICUE Programme IN

The UAB has exchange agreements with different universities within the SICUE Exchange Programme. Through these agreements, the universities involved guarantee the recognition of the studies carried out at the host university.

For more information on application procedures, the university of origin must provide this information.

SICUE Exchange Application at the UAB for the 2024/2025 academic year:

Students selected by their home universities with a SICUE place at the UAB for the 2024-2025 academic year must register and fill in the online application in the Exchange Students section of the portal sia.uab.cat.

The deadline for this procedure ends on 15 June.

Once the application has been processed correctly, within approximately 30 days, the students will receive the acceptance letter at the email address specified at the time of the application, provided that their home university has sent the list of selected students to the UAB. The data offered by the students must coincide with those that the university of origin has previously communicated to the UAB. Otherwise, the application will not be accepted. It is important to enter the data correctly, since these will be used for acceptance letter and validation in the system.

Accommodation at the UAB:
To make a reservation of accommodation in Vila Universitària, it will be essential to fill in the corresponding application and make the payment. The rest of the documentation may be submitted later. Vila Universitària will have at its disposal the list of SICUE students nominated for it, so it will not be necessary to deliver the acceptance letter to make the accommodation request.

Academic Agreement:
Before arriving, you must prepare and send the Academic Agreement to the UAB. The academic offer of the different faculties and schools of the UAB are available on the website, section Faculties and Schools. If you have any doubts, you should contact the Exchange Office of the Centre where you will make your stay. In the dossier you will find the office directory.

The Academic Agreement can only be modified within one month of your arrival at the UAB. You must bear in mind that a minimum of 50% of the credits you want to take must correspond to the offer of your assigned centre. The rest of the credits can be chosen from the total of the UAB offer.

Remember that the regulations of the SICUE call specify that 45 credits must be taken for annual stays and 24 for semesters.
