Eva Jove conducted a doctoral thesis on museum audiences titled [trad.] "The Social Impact of Museums: The case of the Friends of Museums Associations," supervised by Dr. Gabriel Alcalde (UdG) and Dr. Xavier Roigé (UB). She conducted research on museum audiences in various institutions, including the Thyssen-Bornesmiza Museum in Madrid and the National Museum of Denmark (Nationalmuseet in Copenhagen).

Her main interests lie in museum audiences, the impacts of museums, the interplay between the new technologies and heritage, and making cultural heritage accessible to everyone with a gender perspective. As a result, she curated the accessible exhibitions INFRA_lines and souLs. Additionally, she developed a mobile application for visiting outdoor archaeological sites and an algorithm for concept frequency counting.

Eva Jove has published outreach articles on Modernism in the province of Barcelona, excavated in archaeological sites from different eras, and collaborated on various Catalan and European research projects. She has visited universities with Erasmus Staff Mobility grants, such as the University of Milano-Bicocca and the University of Luxembourg.

She is a member of various study associations, and since 2022, she has been the director of the Art Section at the Council of Studies of the Patronat d'Estudis Osonencs. In terms of her management tasks, she has provided academic support for Master's and Ph.D. programs, as well as pre-award advising for research projects at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and the UAB, in addition to the dissemination and communication of scientific activities.
