La Puntilla (Orcona, Nasca, Ica, Peru): Social Practices and Production of Social Life in the Pre-Inca Horizons of the Southern Coast of Peru (c. 1400 cal BCE - 1425 cal CE).

The La Puntilla Project aims to develop various archaeological research lines focused on understanding precolonial communities in the Nasca River Basin (Southern Coast of Peru). The project's goal is to address the social relationships in which both women and men were involved, the economic and politico-ideological practices carried out in different social spaces, and the material conditions generated by the production of social life. Therefore, the priority of the project is to conduct a sociological study of the historical situations of social subjects. In other words, it seeks to promote a Social Archaeology that calls for materialist, feminist, and realistic explanations to understand the dynamics of the communities in the Nasca River region.
