Structure

The Department of Prehistory is affiliated with the Faculty of Arts at the UAB. Its main responsibilities include organizing research within its field of knowledge and overseeing related postgraduate education (Master’s and Doctoral programmes), as well as teaching undergraduate courses assigned by the Faculty and managing Erasmus exchanges related to these studies.

Within the department’s organizational structure, the Archaeological Analysis Service is included, a Service Laboratory offering both internal and external services to the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
