Computer Network Systems Administration - Cyber Security
Practical oriented training that enables students to configure, manage and maintain IT systems, with specific training to analyse security and propose solutions for detected cyber attacks.
Starting in the 2024-2025 academic year.
The objective of this Vocational Traning in Cyber Security at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is to train professionals in the field of technologies and provide them with the necessary skills so they are able to:
- configure, manage and maintain IT systems, and guarantee the functionality, integrity of the resources and services of the system, with the quality required and in compliance with the regulations in force.
- analyse security and propose solutions for detected cyber attacks by identifying the source and reasons for the attack, defining and implementing safe operation for mobile devices and the IoT as well as ensuring network services to ensure secure operation.
This programme is offered by the UAB Foundation at the UAB campus in Bellaterra. It provides students with quality theoretical and practical training, engaging them with a growing economic sector in which solidly trained professionals and foreign languages are of great value.
