New members for grants in the Programme of Requalification of the Spanish University System

After the evaluation process of the admitted applications, by the commissions corresponding to the Call of the Universitat Autònom de Barcelona for “Programme of Requalification of the Spanish University System” for the period 2021-2023, the Institut d'Història de la Ciència (iHC) has obtained a Margarita Salas grant destined to the training of PhD graduates thanks to a two-year stay at a public university or research centre in Spain, or a three-year stay at universities and research centres abroad and a María Zambrano grant to the incorporation of PhD graduates with experience in universities or research centres abroad.

Thanks to the Margarita Salas Grant for the training of young doctors, researcher Laura Valls will spend two years at the Centre Alexandre Koyré in Paris and one year at our Institute.

In addition, Stefan Pohl (PhD in History of Science from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2007) will incorporated in the iHC after your xperience in universities or research centres abroad: the Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá, Colombia) or the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA).
