Without these documents and the on-line application it is not possible to accept your study program at UAB neither your assignment to our Hospital Teaching Unit. Invitation to UAB will be done once accepted your study program.

To follow Nursing degree studies at UAB it is recommended:
  • B2 in Catalan or Spanish, if the student wants to take Practicums.
  • B1 in Catalan or Spanish, for the rest of the subjects.

Our study programme is based on a big practical charge, where our students are dealing with patients who usually speak in Spanish or Catalan.

Consequently, no classes are given in English

UAB can also offer to our incoming students, the possibility to complement their knowledge by entering some Spanish or Catalan course at our Language School:

Nursing students are all assigned to Vall d'Hebron Hospital Teaching Unit during their stay at the UAB. There they will follow both theory and practice for all enrolled subjects.

Teaching Unit Vall d’Hebron

Steps to follow: 

1st. Go to the International Support Service (Bellaterra Campus).
You must go in person to this host point where they will provide you a document regarding your arrival. 

2nd Go to the Exchange Office at the Faculty of Medicine (Bellaterra Campus). Here we will complete your enrollment at UAB and we will provide the original learning agreement duly signed.
You must request an appointment here  
We cannot give attention without a previous appointment.
Compulsory documents for enrollment:

1)  Payment of medical insurance and civil liability insurance with coverage in Spain .

Exchange incoming students at the Faculty of Medicine must pay a Medical insurance and civil liability insurance with coverage in Spain. The fee for year 2020/21 is 4,40€.

2)  Original Identity Card or passport.
