As in recent years, all centres of the UAB's Bellaterra Campus will be closed during the spring break, from 11 to 14 April 2021. Only certain services will be operating on campus.

The UAB to host the Xarxa Vives University Debate League
The UAB for the first time, as the university presiding the Xarxa Vives, will play host to the final phases of the two debate leagues organised by this organisation, which coordinates the action of 22 universities: the high school league (from 30 March to 1 April) and the university league (from 4 to 7 April). All debates will be broadcast live.
The UAB celebrates International Women's Day
Held on 10 March at the conference hall of the Rectorat building, the event paid tribute to Professor Encarna Bodelón from the Faculty of Law, specialist in women's rights and director of the Antígona research group. The event can be viewed on the UAB's YouTube channel.

From 7 March, the UAB Exhibition Halls will be hosting the exhibition "El so de la llum. Mompou and Gaudí"
The project "El so de la llum" refers to the light of the Mediterranean and spiritual sound. The authors of the exhibition, Adolf Pla and Marc Llimargas, define it as an artistic space created from the dialogue between Mompou's music and Gaudí's architecture.
Learn and practice Urban Dance at UAB
This dance course is open to anyone who wants to explore the movements of their body and no previous experience is necessary.
The UAB in favour of peace
On Tuesday 1 March the UAB Governing Team called the university community to observe a minute of silence at 1 p.m., in front of the different campus buildings, to show rejection of the military intervention in Ukraine and call for the resolution of political problems through dialogue and respect for peoples and minorities.
The "Thesis in 4 minutes" competition to be held on 18 May
The competition to find the best presentation of a PhD thesis under 5 minutes will take place on 18 May at 11:30 a.m. A total of twelve PhD students from the UAB will give an oral presentation of their research. The two top presentations will receive 1st and 2nd prize, and a third prize will be awarded to the one most liked by the public.
Last days to join the new ECIU University challenges at the UAB
This unique opportunity will allow students to acquire skills that will be very important for their future, develop ideas in an international setting and come into contact with businesses and public organisations across Europe. Participating in these challenges represents finding creative solutions to real-life problems, thereby generating a real impact on communities and regions. Students can validate their participation with 6 ECTS credits.
