The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Quality appoints the Service-Learning (SL) Evaluation Committee for the 2024-2025 academic year. This committee is tasked with supervising and validating Final Degree Projects (FDPs) and subjects carried out in this modality. The committee will be responsible for ensuring that projects adhere to the methodology and criteria established by the UAB for Service-Learning.

On May 26, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine hosted the VI UAB Service-Learning Day. Students Francisco Pablo Salvador, Aina Jiaqing Romero Solé, Paula Pallejà Gálvez, and Eva Baixauli Algaba won awards for the best Service-Learning Bachelor's Theses in their respective fields of knowledge.

The Periodicals Room of the Humanities Library played host to the presentation of the UAB's new Social and Educational Innovation Campus, an initiative that aims to generate innovation in the region thanks to the joint efforts of the UAB, businesses, city councils, and civil associations. The first municipality to adhere to the campus is Palau-solità i Plegamans, where 11 Final Degree Projects will be developed using Service-Learning (SL) methodology.

Amb el clar objectiu comú de promoure un canvi sistèmic a les universitats mitjançant la institucionalització de l’ApS com una eina essencial per assolir una educació integral, el 18 de novembre passat, la seu de l’ACUP va acollir la jornada “Avançant en la institucionalització de l’Aprenentatge Servei (ApS) a les universitats“, un esdeveniment organitzat conjuntament amb la xarxa ApSUCAT.

This past October, two groups of sixty teaching staff members from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona took part in the two sessions (29 and 31) from the second edition of the training course “How to supervise a TFG with SL methodology? Exploring supervised teaching with a commitment to the territory”, organised by the UAB’s Service-Learning (SL) Office.

Following the end of the academic year and the partnerships, the organisations that took part in an SL project have taken stock and assessed the work. Some have done so externally, through videos, interviews, articles, etc. The following are two examples:

Un any més, es premiaran aquells Treballs de Fi de Grau (TFG) que hagin fet estudiants de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) i que, per a la seva temàtica, promouen el canvi o la transformació social. Hi ha tres convocatòries: una pels treballs amb perspectiva de gènere, una altra pels que abordin qüestions al voltant el desenvolupament sostenible i la justícia global, i una tercera pels realitzats amb metodologia d’Aprenentatge Servei.
