The call is open again for social or environmental organizations and public institutions to submit project proposals that can be developed by UAB students using Service-Learning (ApS) and Challenge-Based Learning (ABR) methodologies.

IMATGEFORMULARIENTITATS

Service-Learning (ApS) and Challenge-Based Learning (ABR) are two methodologies that aim to put the university at the service of society, connecting student learning with the resolution of real challenges and needs within a single project. For some time now, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) has been working to promote these methodologies of meaningful learning, closely linked to the local context, so that students can complement their education by addressing social and/or environmental needs in their surroundings.

In order for these challenges to be real, organizations and institutions are asked to submit the needs and challenges they face- either themselves or on behalf of the groups they work with- through this form by Friday, March 6 (inclusive)

In these two videos, you can see the first-hand experiences of students, faculty, and organizations that have participated in a thesis with ApS or in the development of a Challenge-Based Learning.

You can find more information in this guide, on the ApS website, on the Challenge-Based Learning website, or by sending an email to aprenentatge.servei@uab.cat or reptes@uab.cat.
